Aluminium in Automotive Engineering – Challenges and Solutions
The official programme for the EAC European Aluminium Congress 2017 on the theme of "Aluminium in Automotive Engineering – Challenges and Solutions" is now complete and registration is now open for those who would like to participate in EAC 2017. The EAC 2017, to be held on 27-28 November in Düsseldorf, is being organised by the GDA, the German Aluminium Industry Association. The GDA is staging EAC 2017 within the framework of "D-A-CH, Alliance for Aluminium", in cooperation with the Swiss Aluminium Association (alu.ch) and the Austrian Non-Ferrous Metals Federation - Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO).
The congress will present the various potential uses of aluminium in vehicle construc-tion as well as potential further developments which will make the vehicles of the fu-ture lighter and more energy efficient. Speakers and participants from the aluminium industry, from suppliers to the automotive industry and OEMs, as well as from companies involved in plant and mechanical engineering, will be holding discussions on innovative developments and new technologies in the automobile construction of the future. The programme will be rounded off by an extensive trade exhibition.
The EAC congress will be divided up into a total of six sessions, dedicated to the following themes - "Markets", "Surface, Corrosion, Recycling", "Body Structure and e-Mobility I+II" and "Processes and Joining Technologies I+II". The congress will be conducted in the English language, and there will be simultaneous translation of all presentations into both German and English.
The fee for participation is EUR 970.00 plus VAT, and there is a discount of EUR 100.00 for early bookings made by 15 September 2017.
