The Energy park Mont-Cenis in Herne has aluminium in the biggest facade integrated solar power plant. Almost 3.200 solar modules in an area of 10.000 squaremeter are integrated in this huge, 180 meter long and 72 meter wide building, which is covered in glas. 200 tons of aluminium were need to build it, mainly for the profile systems,that give the glas and photovoltaic elements its strength.
