Aluminium production worldwide
The global demand for aluminium has increased markedly in recent years, not least as a result of the dynamic economic developments in Asia. The figures given here provide an overview of the production of aluminium worldwide.Production of primary aluminium
Bauxite mining
During 2007, there was an increase in production of 3.4% in Europe. America produced 4.8% more of primary aluminium than the previous year. The production of primary aluminium in Asia reoprtet growth of 26.5% in 2007, which is the highest increase compared to recent years.
