The composite window principle is currently experiencing a renaissance because of its outstanding heat and noise insulation properties, and the easy-to-integrate, interior sunscreen. Now Eduard Hueck GmbH in Lüdenscheid presents Lambda 100, a modern composite window that is a versatile extension of the successful, modular Lambda window system.

In the case of Lambda 100 the inner window surface is combined with an additional sash set in front of it. The additional air buffer generated by this between the two panes gives the window optimum heat and noise insulation properties. So with this new composite construction soundproofing rates of Rw up to 49 dB (outer SG casement with float 8 mm bonded, interior glazing 8/16/9 L) and an Uf level of up to 1.1 W/m²K are achieved at an elevation width of only 78 mm. Since the jalousies for Lambda 100 are situated between the two window sashes, they offer effective sun and heat protection, and are also protected against soiling, wind and rain. But the composite window is still easy to clean, because the two sashes can be uncoupled to do this.

With the small elevations of the fixed frame/sash combination starting at 78 mm, and the low depth of 100 mm, the new construction projects a lightweight and elegant feel. This visual impression is supported by the homogenous design of the gap between the panes. Because of the expert sash construction interruptions in colour are avoided along the entire depth of the sash. This makes different colours possible on the inside and outside without much effort.
