OEA is the international trade association for aluminium recycling companies. Its members are the last link in the recycling chain, namely the producers of cast alloys (refiners) and wrought alloys (remelters) who mainly use secondary raw materials. The aluminium recycling industry also includes the processors of aluminium-containing secondary raw materials provided the processing is carried out industrially. Its 64 member companies come from 12 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
